[Venice '24] Some images in this documentary about the consequences of the war in Ukraine may seem familiar, but the power of these images remains a prominent driving force for this documentary that wants to portray the drastic transformation of a society that must face a much more inhumane way of survival. Less propagandistic than other films, it reveals great humanity through a montage that contrasts moments of chaos with the silence of what has been left behind. When a group of students proposes a new utopian Ukraine (without corruption, without borders, without social division...), it is also reflecting the weaknesses of what Ukraine was before the war.
