A real lesson in humanity.
Ivan Barnev is a pretty good Bulgarian actor. Good actors play for other actors too. The story is good, I liked it. But the ending was terrible. Too open for me. Anyway, I am not disappointed.
It is a lesson in humanity.
[Filmin] A simple film about a friendship built from the coexistence between a Spanish retiree and a Bulgarian immigrant, which is built between solidarity and chess games. Sometimes too simple in the elaboration of the discourse about immigration and the need to understand other cultures, it develops effectively without big surprises. Above all, a humanist and optimistic tone predominates, a claim to open-mindedness and an effective portrait of a character who always has a smile, despite the difficulties.
