La vida de Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), un empleado de hotel, se complica cuando, de repente y misteriosamente, los cuentos que lee a sus sobrinos para que se duerman, se convierten en realidad.

Dreary and insipid. The target audience may find some enjoyment in there, but for me 'Bedtime Stories' is truly awful. Everything about it is either awkward and forced or just plain unfunny and uninspiring. It tries to be funny and heartwarming, but neither intention is executed at all well. Adam Sandler is OK in the lead role, but all in all he's definitely more annoying than enjoyable unfortunately. None of the rest of the cast are any better, despite the presence of Russell Brand, Courteney Cox, Richard Griffiths and Jonathan Pryce. The slow pacing doesn't help either. A pure disappointment in the end. My only positive would be the use of "Don't Stop Believin". It doesn't seem that badly received by others, which is a surprise to me but each to their own; as always.
Adam Sandler is back. After the disastrous outing in _Zohan_ he recovers nicely with a surprisingly well done PG effort in "Bedtime Stories". The movie gets extemely corny at times but never too long to stop you from enjoying the story. I thought both kids were great and believable as the overprotected children of a single mother who must leave town for a few days to find a new job. While staying with Uncle Skeeter, their nightly bedtime story magically seems to translate into his next days events. He begins to try to manipulate these stories to his own benefit when his plan breaks down. Even when you see the end coming, you'll still smile. I really enjoyed Keri Russell as Jill, the dayshift babysitter for the children. Also watch for Lucy Lawless as Aspen, the female sidekick to villain Kendall. Of course you have the usual cameos in a Sandler flick -- Rob Schneider, Allen Covert, but no Steve Buscemi.
★★½☆☆ (2.5/5) Fun concept with the fantasy stories coming to life, and it has some playful moments. But it feels very safe and predictable. Not bad, just kind of bland compared to his stronger comedies. Watchable, nothing special.
My childhood Idk why sp many people dislike this movie it's funny (stupid funny) but creative and nonesense in the good way and cute Maybe it's bc I'm really fond of it
