Not bad but I'm guessing this is yet another one of those films where the book is ten times better than the movie. I got the impression that a lot was left out in order to keep the movie to a manageable running time.
Who wrote the script? I guess a 6 year old
> "I'm not putting in my report that I lost a crew member on a deep-sat expedition to find an alien named "Jerry."" This is what you get when you make Event Horizon with less juice and put it underwater. The script alone is a little confusing (like it was unfinished), but it's always fun watching some of the greats do their thing.
The dialogue in this movie makes it a little tough to take seriously: **"Why are you taking the gas out of the room? That's my air. What's with this water?!"** - Norman, the guy who just can't figure out that someone is trying to kill him. Even when they lock him in a room and flood it.
Wouldn't even scare grandma, but has enough 90s cheese to carry it along, plus Crichton's story is interesting enough.
