Slow burner. I wasn't immediately into it but the cast is remarkably charming and it grew on me as minutes passed. Lucy Boynton carries it brilliantly and I found nice how they made Max and David have sort of a similar vibe but very different personalities. I don't know, I could buy the fact that they both matched with Harriet, same way I could see why a close friend gets attracted by two different people. Usually in movies I feel like the romantic interest (if there are multiple) are either the exact same dude/gal with a different name, or they are complete opposites where you have to suspend **hard** your disbelief to imagine that the same person would fall for them both. Here they vibe with Harriet well, but on a completely different tune. I had never thought about this before for a movie, but it was an interesting discovery and nicely portrayed. ps Lucy Boynton does a very good "restrained smile". Like when you want to smile but you've been hurt or something and are scared to try and be happy. Very similar tho not as good as Emma Mackey's
Really enjoyed this... a little bit different take on the time-travel theme. The music was terrific. 9/10
Good idea, bad execution. It was really boring, the acting was weird, no character development. Even the music selection was not that great.
A pretty bad romance movie that uses sci-fi to tell it's bad romance story. Nothing new, definitely nothing great, nothing special at all. Even calling it sci-fi is a slap in the face to actual sci-fi movies. Waste of time.
I’m usually down for a nice slice of sad romantic cheese with a science-fi bend but this one isn’t it. The cast is fine and the idea is fine but once we got to the concert meet cute I knew we were in trouble.
