An enjoyable film, got some funny moments. There are some times when you cringe at Jessica Alba's character but it wasn't too bad. There is a lot of "sex" in this film so wouldn't watch if there is any chance your parents or someone will walk in. Guarantee they will come in at that exact moment. Worth watching though, but you've been warned. 6/10 14/04/2019
Is it the best comedy ever? Certainly not. But it is peak 2000s rom com schlop and I really enjoy it. There is not enough movies made like this nowadays, which will continue to make this a pleasant revisit for me for many years. Rating: 4/5 - 85% - Would Recommend
I thought the movie was decent, not great. But one thing that really bugged me, was after he gets all obsessed and clingy with Cam and she makes the right choice dumping him, her brother compare it to her love for penguins and encourage her to take him back. Being obsessed with a person vs. being obsessed with penguins are two completely different things, one is creepy lol! As her brother, you would think he would want better for her.
stopped watching at 28mins. by then, i had more than enough of Jessica Alba.. this movie was going so well till she entered the scene!
5% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's not a score, that's a crime scene. The concept had genuine potential for a fun, light romantic comedy. Instead it drowns itself in gross-out humor that isn't funny, mean-spirited jokes that land nowhere, and a lead who has zero chemistry with anyone on screen. Jessica Alba deserved far better than this. So did the audience. The penguin subplot alone should have been enough to shut this whole thing down in pre-production.
