The stakes have never been higher.
In the cutthroat world of international finance, a group of young graduates compete for a limited set of permanent positions at a top investment bank in London. The boundaries between colleague, friend, lover, and enemy soon blur as they immerse themselves in a company culture defined as much by sex, drugs and ego as it is by deals and dividends.

Not a great show. Just drags on. A lot of time waste scenes. A lot of talking. Terrible casting. Bad acting. Some exciting moments. If it wasn’t COVID, I wouldn’t even watch this show. If you need something to pass your time while stuck at home, watch it. BBC has lost it’s edge, recently a lot of garbage is released. And HBO Max picks up too much garbage lately.
Well acted, but didn't really go anywhere. Felt little sympathy for any of them so why did I watch it. The characters and the insular financial milieu, I suppose. 6/10...only watch if you been there, or are curious about this kind of world.
Staggeringly bad. Appears to be written by children who might have seen a bit of Billions, Wolf of Wall St etc and then given a crayon and a story mountain template to come up with a story about the finance industry. Same applies to the majority of the cast, who range from shocking caricatures to hopelessly inept. Baffled it got made in the first instance, even more so multiple series. I checked out inside 3 episodes.
I think this is the wall street/stick broker/finance people equivalent to law n order but there's too much shit I don't understand and not enough plot to balance it for me. Not saying it's bad I just don't get it.
Finishing season 1. This is my second comment. There is a lot of potential. The soundtrack is excellent. Some characters are well written. I'm not sure I will continue watching this show because of Harper's character. She is lying all of the time, betraying everybody and then cries and again lies and then again cries... And still the show runs around her ... Why ??? In any real company she would have been fired after 1 week. Everybody is speaking at her like she is super important and irreplaceable, even top management while she is just ruining everything. Top management is begging her even when she is lying or doing unprofessional things . She is pushing back every body and everybody is begging her. I don't get it and it looks like a big bias in the scenario.
