One of the best drama I watched. Kyungsoo (Lee Yool) is an amazing actor, he's the reason why I decided to watch this drama, he acted in the movie "Along with the Gods" and I was amazed by his acting. So this drama is really entertaining, it has a mix of everything: romance, crime, mystery and comedy. I gave it a 9, I loved it and I will re-watch this again someday.
It was great, and I want to give it 8 stars deep down... BUT the lead girl started really getting on my nerves. I took a WHOLE ⭐ off bc of all the STUPID stuff she does in the last few episodes. Otherwise the series was great and intriguing!
I was pleasantly surprised by this show. Historical dramas aren't my go-to but this one was incredibly balanced between action/intrigue and romantic elements. The chemistry between the leads was completely believable, and bolstered by a stellar supporting cast. Do Kyung-soo perfectly portrayed Lee Yool as he grew from closed-off and hurt into a benevolent and warm-hearted leader, and Nam Ji-Hyun's portrayal of Hong Sim's kind hearted nature was never forced or trite. I could see myself watching this again, as it's sweet and comforting.
