Most girls waking up without any memory and meeting a serial killer would panic, but not Rachel. In fact, far from being her biggest problem, killer Zack might just prove a convenient resource when it comes to finding a way out of the building in which they're both trapped!

This is a weird show. I don’t get the conceit at all. What is the point of all this? Don’t get me wrong I never miss an episode.
You need to be able to take quite some brutality. While I think they could have easily ejected some story scenarios, and there were quite some questions unanswered throughout the anime, I think the ending comes with an interesting statement:
No matter who you are, you will always be a human.
I felt that single statement, given the characters, was incredible simple and deep at the same time, and sends an important message. It was absolutely impactful for me.
This is the worst anime I have seen in the last three years.
When 13-year-old Rachel wakes up, she finds herself in the basement of an abandoned building. She has lost all her memories and does not know where she is. As she wanders through the building, lonely and dazed, she meets a mysterious boy who introduces himself to her as Zack. He carries a sickle like that of a Grim Reaper and his entire body is wrapped in bandages. A strange bond develops between Zack and Rachel as they try to escape from the building they are both trapped in. I don't understand what most people have against the anime. Yes, of course it's not a masterpiece, but at least it's something new and I actually find the story quite interesting. I also like the bizarre relationship between the two main characters.
