I watched this "anime" without realizing that it was geared towards a female demographic, and not even by seeing the episode of where male characters kiss did I realized it till months later. But the opening theme song is all 😎 and that.
No.6 was definitely a feelgood anime with an easy-to-follow story told through beautiful animation and two protagonists with whom you can easily empathize.
I enjoyed No 6 quite a lot. Great characters and a big-mystery plotline that kept me interested all the way through. I would have liked a little more background on the forest people and Elyurias, but not knowing that didn't detract significantly from the story. Well worth the watch!
This is one of the best animes ive seen. there are some plot holes when it goes on but the moments, the characters and their developments are so beautiful. personally i would suggest it to everyone (its also very short so it doesnt take much time to watch)
Such an underrated gem! The dystopian city trope is retold in a fresh way with a spiritualistic twist, though some of the story does not make sense without the context of the novels (I had to do research after finishing the series because I was left with more questions than answers). All that doesn't really matter, though, because the relationship between Shion and Nezumi is the beating heart of No. 6, and it was intriguing to watch them open up and influence each other's view of the world.
