Good elements but so many things led to nothing. The first season, each story/episode that each character had ended up contributing and adding to the story, while this one just felt like everyone had completely different experiences and just lived in the same town and knew each other. It made the ending feel so rushed and incompletely, kinda boring.

I liked it well enough to finish the series. It just tries sooooooooooooo hard to be Stranger Things... My Ratings 10 - I love it, regardless of quality 9 - Very good, might not love but extremely well done or might love and forgiving some issues 8 - Very enjoyable or Just OK for me but very well done 7 - Good 6 - Watchable/Enjoyable despite quality issues 5 - Mid 3-4 - Not great, but got through it 1-2 - Very bad/You might be a communist if you like this garbage

The script isn't very good. The characters and their interactions are all over the place. The mass scientist stuff could've kicked the whole thing off, then fine into more depth and built deeper connections with the kid characters. The just don't grow or become better people. The actors don't seem to have any chemistry whatsoever. The gaps on the story like no military presence at all. Who financed this fiasco if not the military and government? No guards on site at all at a military site? Like okay maybe they would just abandon a base, but probably not one with aliens still locked up there. That was just hokey. It needed some idiot oversight to make more sense. Guess they didn't want to pay enough actors to make it worth watching for the adults. It doesn't help that Schwimmer looks awful. Don't know, drinking too much, aging poorly, or health issues, but it was distracting how bad he looked. And the "dad jokes" are so off timing, that they aren't even funny as a kids show. Terrible on multiple levels there. 5.2 out of 10. Not scary at all, so good for even older elementary, pre-teen. But parents you're going to be shopping on Amazon or Temu.
