I actually give this 9.5 but here I gave 5 stars. the cast and the acting was amazing. the cinematography, locations and scenery were also spectacular...but I thought the climax and resolution were too close together and at the very end. I would've liked to see more of them in their regular lives without all the pretenses. Byeon Wooseok's wardrobe was amazing. He always looked like the prince he was meant to play but I don't think IU's did. She was to be a chaebol and her wardrobe although pretty, it didn't always suit her, especially the color; and don't make me talk about those horrible nails they put on her again, and again. the dullest most horrible color they could find and they also looked like they were done badly. now, with all that said, I am waiting for it to have Spanish dub so I can put it for my mom because it was THAT good.

I loved this series. It’s very well made. The actors have great chemistry, and the locations are spectacular.

Do you want something kind of senseless but funny and FULL of cliche (sssssss). This is it . Is not incredibly amazing, but is good enough for a fun watch. 🐉

# **👑 “Perfect Crown: A Kingdom Held Up by Its Queens”** **Perfect Crown** is the kind of drama that reminds you how much a story can soar—or sink—depending on who’s carrying it. And in this case, it’s the women who keep the entire palace from collapsing. IU is the undeniable pulse of the show. She steps into Seong Hiju with that bright, bratty, razor‑sharp energy she perfected in *Hotel Del Luna*, and it fits her like royal silk. She’s confident, wounded, clever, and unapologetically chaotic in the best way. Every time she storms into a scene, the drama wakes up. She’s the spark, the bite, the heartbeat. Byeon Woo‑seok, on the other hand, feels trapped in a character who’s already written too softly. Grand Prince Ian is passive to the point of disbelief—trusting the wrong people, forgiving enemies who don’t deserve it, and drifting through palace politics like a man who forgot he’s supposed to be fighting for crown. Woo‑seok looks stunning, yes, but his performance grows stiffer with each episode, and the role needed far more fire than he brings. Then there’s Gong Seung‑yeon, who quietly steals the show as the Queen Mother. She plays a woman who is both villain and victim, and she carries that duality with a haunting grace. Her emotional control gives the drama its depth, its ache, its humanity. There was also weird chemisty with Prince Ian better than with Huiju. The aides were cute together and had their own moments ; especially i liked when they switched their roles and kept their plans secrets The story itself is straightforward, sometimes frustratingly so, especially when Ian’s arc feels like it’s running on autopilot. But the cinematography is lush, the music atmospheric, and the chemistry—especially when IU is allowed to dominate—keeps the tension alive. **In the end, Perfect Crown is a beautiful drama carried on the shoulders of its queens. The kingdom shines because they do.**
