Iruma Takumi finds himself caught up in a hero summoning, even though he’s not a hero. Summoned by mistake to Mildgard, a fantasy world of swords and magic, Takumi is given a chance to start over. Though he dreams of a peaceful life, the goddess Nolyn grants him “alchemy,” an ultra-powerful skill that allows him to create anything from holy swords to flying ships. His reluctant adventure begins!

Fun watch. Nothing serious going on, but if you like isekais this will satisfy your itch. It’s got a fun plot, an alchemist from another world, and his teammates are all women. Check check check..
This show takes patience it starts off good, gets boring, and then goes back to being good again. Hopefully as the story develops things get more serious just made it to episode 12 and I can feel a shift coming.
I honestly started to get seriously concerned about this season of anime after watching four bad shows in a row, but now I've watched two back-to-back that I've really enjoyed. This is a another one that relies heavily upon ingenuity with magic use. However, I feel like the MC in this is a better character than the MC in 'I'm A Noble On The Brink Of Ruin'. It was weird how the slavery aspect was handled, they're essentially slaves in name only, and more of what we would equate to indentured servants. They made sure to explain that, "these slaves have rights", which was a bit odd. Aside from the societal critiques, everything regarding magic in this show was great to me. It's always fun watching a character's magic use grow and evolve, and that's primarily what this show is about. Where the show comes up lacking for me was in the animation. There are a lot of shortcuts taken....the artwork is about average, but the animation is without a doubt below average. There are times when they were literally just showing a still image and vibrating the screen to express motion. The story is a bit of a slow burn, but there are definitely some memorable characters and I enjoyed the plots that forced the MC to figure out how to use his magic creatively. Give me more of this, I'm here for it.
