I was giving this show a chance, but I don't know what I was looking for or what they were aiming for. But the story just feels a little too forced and actors just don't fit the characters. It isn't a good mold and just comes off wrong. As an example the tv show called High Potential tells a story and feels effortless and you enjoy watching it and the characters in it. Dropping this show.

UPDATE: It's gotten better with the introduction of more Moriarty. There are more twists and suspense after about 5 episodes. Good show. ___ Like everyone else, this is starting out to be House 2.0. The beautiful thing about Sherlock Holmes movies and shows are that they were captivating; crisp dialogue, great acting, and clever crimes to solve made them binge-worthy. Don't get me started on Moriarty as a fantastic nemesis. This show seems to have borrowed a few names from the Sherlock series/movies then plugged them into House scripts or DOC scripts or [insert medical drama here] scripts. It didn't grab me and pull me into the mysterious crimes of Moriarty - at all. I think I'm going to give it another episode to see where the train takes me but this is not a great pilot episode.

This is show is a Sherlock Holmes adaptation which is simultaneously an adaptation of BBC Sherlock and House. Aside from literally being House MD they have also made Watson into a Holmes appropriation? The point of Watson is that he reasons through common sense not straight analysis. Also Barret Cain is meant to be Watson? I watch too many med dramas but still there are too many layers of adaptation in this like even the team vague resembles the og House team so yeah. It’s House but not as good.

The show is fine for what it actually is which is a medical mystery show. The issue is the entire Sherlock connection that is occasionally brought up but doesn't bring anything to the story. It was simply added to a medical show, because they crunched the numbers and made the assumption any Sherlock fans would keep watching a sorta-not-bad medical show due to a slight connection to Sherlock concept. Morris Chestnut looking at his past roles seems to play doctor characters often, I might as well go watch Rosewood from a decade ago.

Great series. Just watched the last episode. Sad I will never get to see the next season's stories because they cancelled it.
