Underrated slice of life, while it's true there isn't much going on it's a nice anime to chill, both mcs are likeable, I hope we get a second season.
I'm not sure how I feel about this show. It feels like a children's story. The world feels flat and lacks details that would make it feel fuller. Aside from that, the animation is a bit rough. It can be nice at times but then you notice issues like forgetting how shadows work. If the story were better, I feel like it could have been a low-key hit but I find myself slogging through it just as often as I enjoy it. Certainly not a must watch, but it's got some charm here and there. Edit: as soon as I wrote this, I started episode 11 and now I can't STOP looking at the shadows (mostly on the characters). It's like they are part of their fabric and skin. What have I done to myself and any who read this?! Sorry? Guess this may also be due to outsourcing the work to China/North Korea or something?
