Honestly, whose bright idea was it to take an anime girl template, paste it on MC, and say MC is a guy? Everything else except that part is great about this premiere.
Please make a second season.
Swords, sorcery & mechs? Just the premise alone started this off as a 7 for me....unfortunately, for every step forward, it also took a step back. Great MC, but what's with the character design? It almost felt like they made him a male to grab the male demographic, but designed him as a female to grab the female demographic. Weird. There are also some great fight scenes, but then there are lulls where the pacing really suffers. The story wasn't exactly bad, but also served up zero consequences in the long run. IDK, this was on the verge of being awesome, and I'd definitely watch more, but I almost hope a new team gets put in charge.
