For me, it’s a 7, but probably would be a 6 for many people

I won’t deny the show has its flaws, but it is a good series nonetheless. And knowing what this upcoming arc will entail, I can’t wait for season 2! (Was announced, April 27th 2026)

Being a filler short series, Berserk of Glutony showed how low budget it was. All the big funding went to visual effect battle scenes. Fortunately, the story was actually fast paced and had a lot of potential for a long haul of min 3 seasons. The whole series revolved around 7 deadly sins but far different than Nanatsu no Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins franchise). This series focused on the origin, growth and damaged having born with 7 deadly sins power using Glutony as the main character. Glutony is always at Level 1 despite having the power of level 999. Glutony must not get hungry because he will devour everyone and everything around him, and he's unstoppable. Glutony gets super strong when he is hungry. Glutony will get the signature skill of who he devoured. The first season, we got introduced to 4 deadly sins: Glutony, Wrath, Lust and Envy. I do hope this series gets season 2 and finished the saga.

Felt like the show was just getting started.. better get more of this.

The first episode had me so hyped, I thought I was in for one helluva ride! Then, things slowed down a bit and they didn't really take the story in the direction I wanted. Definitely thought it was still pretty good though, it just had the potential to be so much better.
