This is essentially a girlfriend movie, a group of teenage girls teaming up to find another while the world around them is upside down. On top of that throw lots of absurd humour, strange encounters and it's a nice watch.
I really tried my best to watch it because the animation is beautiful, but I just couldn’t get into it—the story is boring and silly. There is definitely some meta-commentary trying to address certain themes, but it feels so forced that it just ends up being annoying.
