Frieren explains that she hasn't seen another elf in four hundred years and that her kind is dying out due to their long lives and lack of interest in reproduction. The party reaches another city where we finally see what "demons" look like: essentially humans with horns coming out of the top of their heads. While she may be apathetic about reproduction (and seemingly anything else), Frieren attacks a demon and is thrown in jail. She is clearly proactive about killing her sworn enemies. The show has gotten a bit more interesting here; now we have some bad guys.
