After a foreign teenage tourist goes missing in a misty village, Kasturi, a frazzled local cop, is forced to team up with her city-bred successor, Angad, on a high-profile case that unearths skeletons and resurrects a long-forgotten legend of a savage serial killer in the woods.

Woah, better than what I expected. It thrives on atmosphere more than twists. The forest feels oppressive, the silence heavy, and the show slowly wraps its mystery around trauma, patriarchy and buried secrets. Raveena Tandon is excellent, restrained yet wounded, giving the series its emotional spine. The pacing is unhurried, sometimes too much so, and not every thread lands cleanly, but the mood never breaks. It’s less about the crime and more about what the land and the past do to people. Quietly unsettling, imperfect, but absorbing.
