Completely disagreed with the critics with this one, this has a 33% on Rotten Tomatoes which is WILD. The show does start off a little slow but it gets better and better each episode, fantastic performances with a satisfying and great ending. Definitely worth the time!
The plot thinckens with each episode, the main character is viewed either as a "poor boy", a "good lad", "a mad man", "a victim" or a whole lot of things. The story he's telling is compelling, but even what's happening around him is. And the sum is intriguing. The actors are quite good in their roles too, which doesn't spoil anything. I don't see why it's badly rated.
I tried this, but it just didn't grasp me at all. maybe I didn't give it enough time but I honestly can't see what the attraction is.
Total waste of Time, instead focus on Danny's conflict, explore More about the psique, his issues, explain More about the process, they focus so much regarding feminism, motherhood, g4y drama, but they miss here. The 2 main charachters aré awful, Amanda and Tom aré so bad , yo want to see the other actors, 2 bad lead actors Is a nightmare. Please see better a video on YouTube about Milligan or ser better Split movie.
Tom Holland is so effing phenomenal in this, the way he
switched between Danny's alters on the later episodes?! All the emotions he would show just as Danny?!
Masterful! A truly beautiful performance with such a heavy and dark story!
