[Filmin] The main problem is that, even from the perspective of the patients, the series always addresses the problems from the point of view of the nurses. Even when it proposes controversial topics such as the aggressive electroshock therapies, it doesn't consider questioning them, but only describes them as a necessary evil. The representation of mental problems through ethereal images of people lost in the woods or running horses simplifies these issues in such a way that it ends up reducing the patients to simple weird stereotypes.
