[Amazon] The protagonist is played by a 22-year-old actress, which indicates the cowardice of the proposal. It's surprising that a 2021 show is less disturbing than a 1981 film. It is a mistake to pretending to make a timeless story from a novel that is intrinsically tied to its time. What remains is "Euphoria" aesthetics with beautiful young people, no matter that they are into shit.
