This is a beautiful series, the locations, the distinct characters, the ambience, the romance of the period, the innocence of the nation and the music (although the creators felt this was the unifying element, I’m afraid my tastes are too western to really appreciate it but I’m willing to admit it was a defining characteristic). I give this series a 9 (beautiful) out of 10. [Period Drama]
