This movie is overacted, over dramatic, and all together fabulous. John Waters at his best, a brilliant concept, great music, and great actors. This is what grease could have been if they didn't care about a family friendly rating. 11/10 do recommend.

If you took Elvis movies and Grease and threw em in a blender at John Waters house, this would be the outcome. It's ridiculous, but a lot of fun, with some great songs.

Just saw it for the first time (the 4k looks amazing) and I had a blast. Criticizing the plot or the acting is missing the point. It's a parody of very simple 50s teen movies.

Way too overacted and overdramatic, had to keep reminding myself that its comedy. Was disappointed by the fact that there was no real plot or build up. Like she just woke up one day and decided she loved Crybaby.
