At first, I found it hard to enjoy this movie. There was an uncomfortable quality to it, but I stuck with it and eventually moved beyond that feeling. Oh, and this one reminds me of But I'm a Cheerleader, kinda. I'm so familiar with Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams that seeing her in this role threw me off for a good 30 minutes. The fact that she was blonde and playing such a bright-eyed character, so different from Wednesday, really caught me off guard. But she did a great job! I think the most notable character arc in this movie belongs to Kent Woodlands. At first, he was easy to hate, then he became someone you could almost pity, and by the end, it felt like he was reclaiming his character. Still a bit hateful, but his ending had a certain charm to it.
