Sometimes you need to get lost.
Composer Steven Lauddem is plagued by a creative block which leaves him unable to finish the score for his big comeback opera. When his former therapist-turned-wife Patricia suggests he rekindle his creativity by getting lost in the city, Steven sets out in search of inspiration. The movie flails around with no clear direction. Good performances but lacklustre script.
I’ve never seen a movie be overtaken by the b-storyline more than this film right here. You have a great cast of actors and semi interesting things going on and they decided to shift focus and then make this whole story about daughters and sons and age of consent become the whole focus of the movie. I don’t know who decided to change it to that, or if this was the only way you got this made with Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway and Marisa Tomei. They are secondary in 2nd half. It’s a shame because ingredients for a good film was there.
it was a cute off beat romcom that doesn't really feel like a romcom until the very last 5 minutes. enjoyable and unexpected for a fun time. PSA, all the songs were terrible.
Interesting movie. Not at all the direction I thought the movie was going
Una película dispersa y delirante, pero en el buen sentido de la palabra. Definitivamente no busca la profundidad ni la carga dramática de otros filmes, pero resulta sumamente entretenida de ver
