Synopsis

One of those movies you're supposed to hate because critics did. However , RV makes me miss Robin Williams. The poor guy made worse before he died.

Robin Williams stars in the Barry Sonnenfeld family comedy _RV_. Feeling that his family has become estranged from one another, Bob Munro cancels their vacation trip to Hawaii and rents an RV for them to travel the country, hoping that it’ll bring them closer together. Williams gives a good performance and is backed by a solid supporting cast that includes Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels, Kristin Chenoweth, and Will Arnett. The plot’s pretty formulaic and includes a lot of the usual tropes. But the comedy is well-written and comes up with some amusing hijinks for the family to get into. It has its problems, but overall _RV_ is a fun ride that the whole family can enjoy.
