This is totally just doing Alien 1&2 but in the ocean, but I had so much fun with this. The whole cast is pretty goofy in an endearing way. The robotics are WICKED and almost all practical. Every time I saw a spooky silhouette I sat up in anticipation of what it was gonna look like when the lights hit it. Maybe I don't really get why a few decisions were made but who cares I had fun.

It’s not a great movie in the slightest, but it is a fun movie. Sometimes that’s all that matters!

The actors carry this one, all the cast are great, the CGI is good considering its from the 90s. Still it lacks any kind of scares or a real feeling of impending danger and isolation that it seems they were going for. I kinda like the tech robots AI stuff though

Very Good SF movie, not the greatest but love it.

Not a great movie qs the movie is slightly confused in terms of where the virus came from. Space? Alien? Human created? It is completely unknown what the monster is in the movie. It would be easier to say it was a cyber weapon getting out of hand However it is only a monster movie and i like the cast, acting is pretty good. Most impressive is the use of models. It looks like robots were built to use in the movie rather than just CGI , this makes the movie ten times better than it would have been if it was cgi monsters.
