Pretty rad little sequel. Not as good as the first of course, but considering the resources they had, this turned out pretty well. Further fleshes out the mythology and has a great ending. There shouldn't have been a sequel in the first place, but since there is, what more are you looking for...?
This turned out worse than it should have but maybe it's that SyFy thing. There is hardly a plot in this and plays more like an extended TV pilot except that it actually should have been a sequel to a damn good vampire movie. Also there are not one but *three* kidnappings in the first half hour... so diverse!
Catching up before it's leaving Shudder. Probably the most unengaging post apopcalyptic film I've seen in my entire life. No kidding. It does everything the first already did but this time around it's much more bland, repetitive, non-sensical with less budget. Mostly this film feels kind of meandering and doesn't really have anything to offer. I couldn't connect with any characters. The action parts are mostly shot in the dark it's nearly impossible to see what's happening. Overall it's just another unnecessary follow-up that nobody asked for. Hopefully there will be no _The Stakelandest_.
Not a bad sequel, but the franchise should probably have a stake put through its heart before it turns stale.
