This is hands down one of the best political rom com to ever be made since there isn’t much of them out there. Rob Reiner direction is great, the score of Marc Shaiman is just so amazing and that opening scene with Shaiman score is one of my favorites as well for his work. Michael Douglas and Annette Bening have great chemistry and performance. Marc Shaiman work on The American President as I mentioned earlier is one of my favorite works from his and glad it got nominated for best score in Oscars. That out of league quote is pretty much one of the most quotable things from film and glad it got some recognition.

Politics aside, I’ll come back to this movie time and again when I want a good love story. It has everything I look for and never seems to get tired for me. Something about this movie just draws me in.
