Excruciatingly void of structure, engagement or delivery. Could’ve maybe been a picture book. But not an enjoyable movie experience.
Quite unlike any other movie I've seen before. Extremely slow, hypnotic camera movement mixed with voiceover throughout from an unseen cast of characters. It all felt like a ghost story, of sorts. A story of a woman, but also a ghost story of colonialism. I admired this stylistically, but can't say I enjoyed the watch.
