amazing film that balances humor and sincerity. would appeal to all audiences (parents may say 13+, idk). the representation in this is astounding- they touch on cultural standards from different perspectives while keeping viewers endlessly entertained. def watch :)

Honestly this being Karan Johar's comeback film, I expected a stellar movie. Instead it's a copy of the 2014 Bollywood film "2 States". Seriously!!!? Karan Johar is more than capable of delivering a fresh story full of entertainment, drama, and a satisfying experience. Sadly this is not the case. in fact NOT lost in the dramatics of this extravaganza, is the fact, the original was a better movie. Back to the drawing board. Or shall I say "Copy / Duplicate / Clone" board.. ?

Bravo Karan johar. Dealt with emotions well, top notch acting, few scenes were funny when it wasn’t supposed to be. Good plot and chemistry. Songs could’ve been better and the drama could be toned down so the few scenes would’ve more of an impact, some dramatic scenes felt forced, instead there could’ve been lighthearted scenes like in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar so the characters felt real instead of an archetype of suffering

A typical Karan Johar movie which is cringe at start but slowing staring to improve and becoming a india family lessons giving movie but not a bad one. Overall worth watching one time or a few.
