9/10 Superb Venom has aged exceptionally well and it's such a shame we never got some sequels from this bad boy. He was unique but definitely belonged in the Jason, Michael category, missed opportunity with the Big V he was frickin awesome and he could have been around for a very long time.

This was kind of a good (in a B-movie sort of way).

Venom is an average horror movie, which means that for horror movies, it's above average.

It's a paint-by-numbers slasher flick with a voodoo in the Bayou gimmick. As such, it's still pretty fun if you're into these kinds of flicks. Nothing really noteworthy, but it hits all the notes well enough. Except for the final girl, she was awful.
