Vacations in the French countryside. Daphne, three months pregnant, finds herself alone to welcome Maxime, her boyfriend François’ cousin. François had to leave in a hurry for Paris to cover for a sick colleague. For four days, while waiting for his return, Daphne and Maxime get to know each other and share very intimate stories that bring them closer...

[D'AFF] One of the characters asks "What are the rules of love?", and the answer of the film is as obvious as it is topical. From a more light-hearted beginning, there is a certain tendency towards unnecessary drama at the end, despite compelling performances by Niels Schneider and especially Camélia Jordana. Possibly one of the worst uses of classical music in a movie in a long time.
Like a mediocre philosophy student presenting his thesis on extra-conjugal affairs and getting a C-. Or watching someone do a puzzle when you know what the finished image looks like, but have to watch for over two hours while the writer-director mis-matches characters you know don't go together until he finally ends up with the inevitable. The best part of this is clearly Camelia Jordana who with every role reveals another level of her incredible range.
