Synopsis
A supernatural tale set on death row in a Southern prison, where gentle giant John Coffey possesses the mysterious power to heal people's ailments. The Green Mile is a masterwork. This is film as art, at it's very best. Film was invented for creations like this.

Michael Clarke Duncan: R.I.P. I just heard on the news that he died from complications from a heart attack he got 2 months ago. This is without a doubt the best movie of his, no question about it. I might just watch this again soon in honor of his name.

I have yet to not cry my eyes out. Puffy eyes, running nose, trebling lips, so many tears I can't even see the screen.. THIS is what drama movies should be about; invocate real emotions while telling us a unique story, not bore us to death. I don't know how many times I have watched this movie, bit I know I will be watching it so many times more in the future.

>"People hurt the ones they love. That's how it is all around the world." Watched this as a kid and didn't fully understand it. Watched this as an adult and was moved by it. All the actors brought their A-game and I couldn't get enough. Also, Percy might be one of my most hated characters in a movie.
