One of my favourite films in general. Too many people think a horror/thriller can only be scary, which is dumb. It's allowed to have a story too. In this case the story is so good that the creators were confident enough to add some comic relief, and it worked.. really well. After seeing the second chapter of Insidious, I can honestly say this franchise is only 1 film away from being the perfect trilogy. James Wan and Leigh Whannell are just too talented for their own good. Brilliant movie.

This is pretty bad for a "scary" movie. Everything was so predictable and any scary parts were due to random crap jumping out with loud music playing. This is a joke of a scary movie. If you want to be really scared, go watch Event Horizon late at night.

Wasn't as scary as i thought it would be...... actually quite liked it Plus Cora was in it lol

The movie didn't had any vulgar scenes, any hot chick or anything that usual horror movies does, but it worked for me nonetheless. Instead it has a freaky environment, good actor performance - I also watched part 2 and I think this one here's a lot better!
