The odds are 10 billion to 2.
Cooler has resurrected himself as a robot and is enslaving the people of New Namek. Goku and the gang must help.

Well that was a strange one. I feel like the filmmakers changed too much from the usual format. So the henchmen are just mute robots with limited power sets? Lame. At least in Cooler’s Revenge we got a knockoff Ginyu Force. I was intrigued by Coola’s new form until he shared how he got there. This led into another change from the usual format where there’s not really a final boss fight. The climax just felt like the writers made up some Saiyan lore because they thought it was cool. I did think the fighting animation was pretty great, especially during the instant transmission battle. Once again, Yajirobe has the funniest scene when he’s strapped to the operating table and the robot is singing about to chop him up 😂
Cooler must've been extremely popular back in the day to be able to get 2 consecutive movies. I thought this movie was a little better than the previous one. It felt like this one was on a much grander scale since the heroes get to battle an entire army of machines on New Namek. The action scenes in this one felt just as great as the other movies, The side characters, except for Krillin since he was the butt of all the jokes, all got some great moments against Cooler's army. Action scenes with Cooler are just as awesome as they were before with him pulling off surprising moments and showing off his brutality as much as he could. In terms of story this is honestly a simple rehash of the revenge story that Cooler's first movie got so there's nothing I can say there. Vegeta arrives from literally out of nowhere with absolutely no explanation but it's nice to see him teaming up with Goku. Cooler was just as intimidating and brutal as he was in the previous movie so there isn't really anything I can add to that. His henchmen were just generic robots and clones of himself so there isn't anything great to say about them. My complaints are that villain is once again defeated so extremely easily, it even made me say what was even the point of his form at the end of the movie, it was more anticlimactic than the previous movie. The fact that we do not get to see Goku and Vegeta at least try to take on the Meta-Cooler army is also such a big shame.
