Shivaay is Ajay Devgn going full one-man army mode, both in front of and behind the camera. The film looks stunning, especially the mountain sequences, and you can feel the effort in every frame. The father-daughter emotional core works in parts, giving the story some heart. But the narrative drags, the pacing is uneven, and the action often stretches into excess without enough payoff. The villain track feels underdeveloped, and the film sometimes mistakes scale for depth. Ambitious, visually strong, but emotionally inconsistent.
The action is pretty good, the soundtrack is amazing but that’s all there is to it
