Same formula, slightly less magic. More ghosts, more comedy, more length - and the length is where it starts feeling like a problem. Nithya Menen in the flashback is the emotional core and she delivers everything. But the formula is showing its cracks now. Still fun, still watchable, but all a level down, just clearly running on the first film's goodwill.
