THE MASTER MINDS OF MYSTERY!
England, at the start of World War Two. Mysterious wireless broadcasts, apparently from Nazi Germany are heard over the BBC. They warn of acts of terror in England, just before they take place. Baffled, the Defense Committee call in Sherlock Holmes.

Classic piece of wartime propaganda. The plot taking inspiration from the real life Lord Haw Haw, but with some amazing overacting (Evelyn's English accent is great, me ole chestnut :) ). Very daft in places but I enjoyed the end result. Ends with a strong patriotic quote to boost your morale against the hun!
Cine Paco Image 3.5 / 5 and sound 3/5 . Not bad, but it is very propagandist
Quite fun watching this to see Evelyn Ankers (Kitty) lapse into an American accent while shouting "I'm English, I am". Even in 1943, the Dick Van Dyke school of accents was in business :)
