Synopsis

I remember really liking this as a kid when it came out. Rewatching it now after 40 years… still pretty good for a kids movie. A tiny bit scary at times. Perfect for Halloween…

This is a well done movie with pretty good acting by the kids. Though the story is rather directed towards kids. It is quite over the top and reminds more of Spy Kids than a classic Sherlock Holmes. The “Sherlock logic” also mostly only makes sense when you accept that it was written as such in the script. Well, good entertainment for kids, acceptable light entertainment for adults.
