Valerie's about to discover how far a girl has to go to find Mr. Right.
In this musical comedy, Valerie is dealing with her philandering fiancé, Ted, when she finds that a trio of aliens have crashed their spaceship into her swimming pool. Once the furry beings are shaved at her girlfriend's salon, the women discover three handsome men underneath. After absorbing the native culture via television, the spacemen are ready to hit the dating scene in 1980s Los Angeles.

What a crazy film. Very funny but more in a laughing at how ridiculous it is way
Sorry no, not my cup of tea. Despite the starpower, this story is stupid, the special effects are terrible and even the charm of Davis and Goldblum cannot save it. In addition, I am no fan of musicals and this one is even more shallow than most. Not for me and to my mind, a waste of time for others too.
COMEDY FUCKING GOLD, FUCK THE HATERS jim carey is fuckn hilarious
Earth Girls Are Easy is a goofy, silly little movie that's still as fun as I've always found it to be. The film leans into its own absurdity, and that's precisely what makes it so charming. I love the movie's mix of vibrant colors, catchy songs, and outlandish premise. It's a perfect escape into a world where everything is just a little bit ridiculous, and it's all the better for it.
Three horny aliens come to Earth and hang out with Geena Davis for a few days. The end. Sounds like a porn, too bad it's not; it's a musical. The movie, overall, is not very good. It's silly, poorly paced, and wastes time on pieces that don't matter. I think they were trying to be _The Rocky Horror Picture Show_ (1975) or _Little Shop of Horrors_ (1986), but just didn't have the talent for that. What the film lacks in good storytelling, it makes up for with random moments, and little bonuses, for example: Do you want some shirtless Jeff Goldblum? Well, forget _The Fly_ (1986) or _Jurassic Park_ (1993), this is your movie. Do you want to see Damon Wayans in a dance battle? Weird, but this has it. Do you want to see Jim Carrey in a test run for his Grinch role? You got it! What I got, that I didn't know I needed, was Geena Davis in lingerie, and a wet bikini. Kind of a babe. A bit of trivia: Jeff Goldblum, and Geena Davis were in three movies together, this is one. The other two were _Transylvania 6-5000_ (1985), and _The Fly_ (1986). Can't say I recommend this one. However, if you like silly musical comedies about aliens... this might be the only one. Not terrible. I'm a sucker for a happy ending.
