Synopsis
For four years, the courageous crew of the NSEA Protector — Commander Peter Quincy Taggart, Lieutenant Tawny Madison, and Doctor Lazarus — set off on a thrilling and often dangerous mission in space... until their series was cancelled! Now, twenty years later, aliens under attack have mistaken the Galaxy Quest television transmissions for "historical documents" and beam up the crew of has-been actors to save the universe. With no script, no director, and no clue, the actors must turn in the performances of their lives.

Galaxy Quest is one of the best parodies made in the last 2 decades...if not THE best. Many laugh-out-loud moments and a cast that knows what they are doing, makes Galaxy Quest really watchable even for people that usually don't enjoy sci-fi. The late Alan Rickman and Tim Allen especially. And oh yeah...Sigourney Weaver's breasts make a good figure too (pun intended).

One of my absolute favorite movies. Being a Star Trek fan, it lets me laugh at/with Star Trek without belittling it at all. Every actor is spot-on. The whole movie just gets everything right.
