Objectively, this is a bad movie, but for an SOV flick, it’s really pretty good. The story is absurd, but no where near the worst I’ve ever scene, and it does have a sort of stupid charm. Felt a bit like a really sleazy episode go Goosebumps, or a H.G. Lewis flick served with a side of warm fuzzy. My biggest issue is that the audiance knows everything they will know 15 minutes in, so there isn’t any dramatic tension, leaving you with the feeling that you are waiting out the runtime until the end. There is some great gore along the way, but nothing that would bump it above a mid/average rating.
