The cinematography of Wong Kar-Wai's films is an unmistakable signature, and in this case, it's no different: the use of color, the blurring in some scenes, the unusual angles and the moments of stunning beauty are striking. The story, although told in a more conventional format, retains a peculiar touch, especially in the relationships and encounters that lead the narrative through deeply captivating moments. The soundtrack is a spectacle in itself, harmonizing perfectly with the beautiful and melancholic images.
wong kar-wai is an exceptional director whose style shines through this mess of a film. talented actors, except for the protagonist whose work undermines the rest of the cast's making the viewer feel annoyed.
