Well, it's somewhat better than the previous "Hood" film in the franchise but it's still pretty bad. At least they explored the Leprechaun's lore in this one. Again, things happen that are revealed through expository dialogue and a lot of camera shots are out of focus... I don't know how they keep messing up like this. The Leprechaun stabs too many people in a similar way, it's like that was the only "death scene" they knew how to achieve on camera.

Whassup ninjas! The Leprechaun heads Back 2 tha Hood in this sixth and final installment of the series. After a hairdresser named Emily finds a chest of gold coins at an abandoned construction site and shares them with her friends, the Leprechaun comes a calling. The characters are actually fairly interesting and are well-written, except for the Leprechaun; who seems entirely out of place and buffoonish. Still, there are some entertaining kill scenes, and the gore is pretty effective. While it has some problems, Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood is one of the better installments of the series.

A couple hilarious moments makes up for what is a far too grounded film for the franchise. Once you've uncorked Lep in Space, there's not going back.

Wow, they really made a sequel to Leprechaun in the hood. Because that's what everybody needed. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
