Synopsis
TV child star of the '70s, Dickie Roberts is now 35 and parking cars. Craving to regain the spotlight, he auditions for a role of a normal guy, but the director quickly sees he is anything but normal. Desperate to win the part, Dickie hires a family to help him replay his childhood and assume the identity of an average, everyday loser.

Do you like Happy Madison Productions movies? If you answered “No”, skip this movie. If you answered “Yes”, then this will be palatable. If you take any of their comedies ever, and trimmed out the hilarious parts, this is the result. It’s a meh plot, that is an enjoyable watch, that occasionally makes you chuckle. It’s not the best of David Spade, nor is it the funniest David Spade / Happy Madison Productions. But it is a budget film within the catalog that I’m not upset exists. Rating: 2/5 - 6.5/10 - Not Recommended to Everyone
