A marginalized twelve-years-old boy lives in a village where he is constantly mistreated. Until one day, a "miracle" happens: after being bullied for the umpteenth time, his tears turn to blood. News of this event goes viral on the internet and fills the hearts and heads of the villagers with mystic excitement. With all eyes of the people now upon him, he must decide how to treat others, especially those who mistreated him.

OK concept. A boy starts leaking blood from his eyes (it's not tears, it's basically a constant stream) and is treated as a miracle. The intro suggests this is a commentary on social media addiction. So yeah, the blood is like his 15 minutes of celebrity, it explodes like crazy as he goes viral, then people lose interest and he fakes it to keep it going. But on first read, it looks more like a criticism of cults. However I think it's missing a point. It starts by saying that social media addiction is not technological but sociological. Except it is. Social media is explicitly designed to optimize addiction. It's not a regular thing to which some more sensitive people become addict. It's more of a miracle that not everyone is. Anyway, it's kinda ok, but could have been half shorter.
