Great cast, below average story, NOT very funny. Don't skip that root canal or washing the dog to watch this, but if you're desperate to watch something - anything, this will be right up your alley. 5/10

It wasn't horrible, but nothing special here.

Fantastic cast in a really not funny movie. You know it's that old story of a guy wants to bang a con artist so he hires an escort to bang his wife and the wife loves it then doesn't and so the guy does drugs. So relateable, right.

From writer/director Mike Judge comes the offbeat comedy Extract. Starring Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, Kristen Wiig, J.K. Simmons, and Ben Affleck, the film has a great cast. The story follows a factory owner who finds himself attracted to one of his new tempts, but unknown to him she’s a grifter with an eye on his company. The comedy is pretty well-written and is fairly lighthearted. However, the script is weak and includes several subplots that don’t really payoff (like the annoying neighbor). The resolutions of the main story arcs are also underwhelming and somewhat unsatisfying. But despite its disappointments, Extract delivers some good laughs and is kind of fun.

Not that bad but not that great either.
